broody's comb is very pale - ADDED PICS

I kept food and water available and left them to do their thing. I did try to offer one of the water after reading on the forums that someone gave food and water to their broody but she just ignored it.

When she needs to eat and drink and relieve herself she will do so. Probably without you noticing until you smell then see that big pile of stuff.

She looks better today. I let her out of her broody crate for a while today when I candled her eggs. She did several huge poops and drank lots of water. I also gave her water a few times last night, just to see and make sure she was at least drinking.

9 of 12 eggs are good so far.

I have notice that in the heat my hens combs get a bit pale and also just right after they have laid an egg they turn pale. I am not sure if everyone else has had this experiance.

She is on day 18 or 20 (somewhere in there) and her comb is very pale and laying over. Few more days!
