Brought my week old babies out to the coop to play today...FUN!!

Our coop is actually half of a former greenhouse attached to the barn so it's quite warm in the day. My girls had a 12'x9.5' area to run and play and boy did they love it! I was a bit worried at first, just afraid they would chill, but not a single complaint. They ran and tested their little wings, even caught a few bugs. We had such a nice time! And like every good toddler they napped well when brought back ito the brooder!

hehehe that sounds like fun! I live in S. Texas so I'm hoping we will be warm enough to do that too very soon. We had a "front" blow it so it is down to the 70's but will be back in the high 80's in a few days. First time I've ever wanted cooler weather to hold back a bit
