Brown Comets

I think that they are commercial brown egg layers. I think that they are worth $2.00 for meat. If you have a plucker makes it alot easyier. We use for soup. I did four pigeons this week . Used whizbang plucker and had done in about 10 minutes all cleaned. Am making soup as we type.

It may be too late, but I am still not real comfortable that Brown Comets are just a local name for Golden Comets. If possible, you may want to see if they are really Brown Leghorns or a cross made with leghorns. Leghorns or leghorn crosses are not going to have the meat on them that a dual purpose cross would have.
