Brown Egg Layers From MMH

Well here are some of my MMH brown egg layers from last year. I am still not sure what some of them are.

I know I have a few barred rock, one SLW, and then these guys.

I am not sure if we look cute or evil here

Many when your chickens are used to getting treats they are not all that easy to take pictures of!

Looks like rhode island reds like I got from MM last year.

When we have ordered the "brown egg layers" from MM
it always a great mix of good layers.

In the center of pic#1 you have a Black sex link. We have three of them and they are great layers and friendly but always run around alone when free-ranging.

As for the RIR they are evil :|

well maybe not evil but something close

I really like my black sex link. I think she is really pretty.

The lighter one and the darker one are both RIR?

I lost my RIR banty roo this past winter. He was evil. He was named Red Forman because he always wanted to but his foot up your. . . well ya know.

Now I have his son a RIR X EE cross. He seems nice so far- almost a year old.

By far my barred rocks are the friendliest. I also have a BO, but she is not as friendly as I had heard that they should be.
