We have been treating our 2 yr old silkie hen for Bumblefoot for about a month.
We did the Epsom salt soaking, triple antibiotic ointment with gauze & vet wrap daily.
There was never a kernel, just a scab that fell off. Never any puss.
It was never very swollen.
We originally brought her inside because she was limping but had no signs of Bumblefoot at the time, it developed about a week later.
We’ve continued with a Vetericyn anti microbial poultry care spray, the triple antibiotic ointment, gauze & vet wrap. We’ve kept her inside in a nice comfy cage.
My question is do we need to continue to keep her inside? She seems to be getting a little depressed. Do we need to continue to keep wrapping this? At what point do we stop wrapping it?
Pictures are attached.

I would reintroduce her to the flock. Start with the see, no touch because she’s been away for quite a while. If you can set her up with a barrier like chicken wire or hardware cloth so she can be with the flock but not be harassed. A metal dog crate, bigger is better, will do too. I would continue to put some vetericyn spray or triple antibiotic on and cover it with self adhesive wrap(1inch wide, don’t wrap too tight) and change that daily until the skin heals over some more. She’ll feel better with her flock near her.
