My RIR hens are laying these lighter colored eggs, never had hens do that before these. Please, any help out there ?

The shade will vary.
That's just how it is. Nothing you can do about it.
Are lighter eggs a problem?

thankyou for replies. While eggs were lighter, they also had thinner shells, the lightest color ones the thinest. I began feeding oyster shell, the shells improved, but I don't remember RIR's having this light of eggs in the past. My friend thinks it is a mineral issue or water ???

It can happen if the hens get too hot (especially if they run short of water during the day) -- are you having a summery snap at the moment?

My buff orp was doing that as well during a hot spell we were having. The shells were thin too. It's cooler now and they eggs are the color they should be. Weird stuff.
