Hi everybody. I recently adopted this chicken “Liesel” and a grandma hen from a rescue farm. She looks like a brown leghorn, white earlobes and all, but she just layed her first egg here and it’s green with white speckles?! What kind of mix could she be? Or did Liesel just have too much spinach yesterday :D

There is a little red on the white earlobes.

She's a mix. She has white legs, and the coloring isn't right.

She is a mixed breed not a Leghorn.

Here is a better picture of her leggs. Actually has some yellow. I just thought she’s older.

she is definitely not a leghorn (the colorings off) I agree, she is probably a mix.

Hens legs don't discolor until they are quite a bit older.if she just laid her first egg, she's pretty young.

Even her shape doesn't really define her as a leghorn.

Her first egg “here”. I just got her. Don’t know much about her history.
    She’s a cutie :)
