Tractor Supply surprise. Was in a container labeled Black Sex Link. Wattle too big for Wellsummer or EE and no beard and looks like Brown Leghorn but blue legs?? Every pic I can find of a Leghorn has yellow legs. Maybe just a Leghorn with questionable breeding? Hasn’t laid an egg yet so not sure of egg color. She’s very vocal and sometimes food aggressive but sweet most of the time. Her name is Einstein.

Did it have a chipmunk pattern as a chick? We have a TSC mystery bird that has a single comb and slate legs and we cant figure out what it is. Hasn't laid yet, hopefully soon. I'm interested to see what color eggs your girl has too!

She has white earlobes which would indicate brown leghorn. I just confirmed which eggs are hers and she is laying Brown speckled eggs like a Wellsummer. So I’ve come to the conclusion that she is just a mutt. Lol. I think this is a case of bad breeding but can’t say I’m surprised since she was a tractor supply baby. So maybe when a leghorn and Wellsummer mix it creates the blue legs or maybe there is something else mixed in as well.
