Brown rats took all

Ferrets will kills cats
no i have 3 and the cats are way stronger and can kill the ferrets. Most cats get out of the way from smell. But they have gotten into it and ferrets dont have the strength to get out of a cat neck hold. I have the biggest ferret ive ever seen also. My male tivo is 6lbs hes huge beast. But the cat is so much stronger faster. If i left tivo outside like i do the cats he would be killed really fast. I have been keeping cats ferrets my whole life. BELIEVE me i wish ferrets were hunting machines but they just arent as equipped as people think they are. I have even had ferreting ferrets. I lost one to a hawk during falconry. When a hawk hit a large feral cat it ended up getting killed. It would be amazing if ferrets had a lot of power. They might be able to kill rabbits and rats. Usually thy just chase them out of holes.

I also do cat and ferret rescue at least 20 have gone in and out. Cats have strong forlimps if a ferret even got a cat by the throat it can easily rake it off. Thats why cats do well outdoor animals with all the wildlife until coyotes come along. I have seen cats chase off so many foxes. Foxes eat mink martin etc..

a ferret may kill a baby cat or super sick one but i only know of cats killing ferrets (when put in a home with a angry cat) Never heard of a reliable case of vice versa. Ferrets are designed to take larger prey though because of their ability to get to the head and chew into it. WHile cats get the throat and hold on. I hear a lot of myths regarding ferrets but they really sweet gentle animals with not much of a defense other than hiding behind sofa and trying to bite from there.

That baking soda doesn't work.
I went through pounds of it and never saw a dead rat. Eventually I caught one in a live trap and fed him for a couple weeks and it never had any effect let alone kill him.
