Brown Red D'uccles

I got my chicks from Ideal friday! A few people were interested in how the brown reds would turn out so I will update on here. I only ordered 5 'cause i was curious about them and one failed to thrive so i have 4 healthy ones now.

the other chicks are lav d'uccles and blue belgian quail d'anvers.

So the black chicks you have are the brown reds? I have a mystery chicken who looks like a mutt of a black copper maran and an olive egger but i dont think really dont think thats what she is. anyways, do u have any update pictures of the brown reds?

I saw a black d'uccle with the exact same coloring as mine but they didnt say what it was. Im guessing my hen is a black d'uccle mixed olive egger or black copper maran

I've been looking at lots of pics... I think you have a full D'Uccle, and I think it does look like mine, just not as strong with the colors. My guess is a Brown Red, or Black, with color leakage. But it looks like mine and other D'Uccles, so I don't think it is a mix. They can look mostly black and "hide" their color genes.
