Whats the chickies name that is in your profile pic? Just adorable. My white d'Uccle, Daisy, has a floppy comb like her, so cute

I think mauve is equivalent to a blue in a BBS.. just the chocolate version.. so some dilution. It'll be interesting to see how her color pans out as she gets bigger.

She doesn’t have a name, she’s the F1 baby born last year.

Update on F1x Mille Fleur- 1month old. All chicks including F1xF1 will be kept until 3 month old to see what’s being kept and who’s going.

This little man is probably going to end up leaving. He doesn’t have the best mottling or feathered feet. He does have some leakage coming in.

I’m hoping to keep this handsome boy. His mottling is good, he’s got vulture hocks and nice feathered feet. I wish his muffs and beard were better and I hope he gets leakage.

This little pullet has to ok mottling one her breast but the rest of her body is mostly black. Like her muffs, her feathering on her feet is not the best.

His girl has little to no mottling, lots of gold leakage and is kind of brown in color. I do like her feathered feet and beard

This young lady has good mottling. She’s has poor muffs, beard, and feathered feet. Not sure if I’ll keep her or sell her, she’ll possibly stay if she has brown red leakage.

This poult has mottling on her breast and tips of her wings. No muffs or beard. Has small amount of leakage. Her eyes are also the wrong color, the need to be dark orange to red. Some of the chicks like her have very good feathering on the outside toe, I wish they had better feathering one the middle toe.

F1xF1- 3 weeks old today! In some of the feet pics the camera didn’t focus.

This little man has nice mottling coming in! He also has nice outside toe feathering! No muffs or beard.

Nice looking pullet! I’m very excited about her. She’s got good mottling, really nice outside foot feathering! She has some inside feathering and she has vulture hocks. Her beard could be better. She is definitely staying!

Pullet with mottling mostly on the neck and breast, has small amount of mottling on wings. Muffs and beard are tiny and feathering in the feet are poor.

Dot heads

Roo. Has very small amount of mottling on wing. He does have small muffs and almost no feathering of the feet.

Pullet. Muffs, poor feathered feet, tiny amount of mottling on wings.

Pullet. She has nice mottling, very good outside feathering, and some feathering of the inside toe. She has almost no muffs or beard though. She will mostly likely stay.

D’Uccles colored chicks. I’m kind of wondering if the chicks will stay buff or get the mottling over gold Columbian pattern ( Mille Fleur color)

Pullet. This one has the black mottling on her wings. I’m wondering is maybe she is carrying the mottling gene.

Forgot to mention I’m breeding the F1 roo to the MF hens again. They were put in together last Thursday. I’ll start collecting eggs tomorrow or some time next week.
