F1MFxF1. These guys hatched while I was gone so I don’t exactly know when they hatched. I’m guessing a couple days old

I believe this guy is a boy. Looks at those feathered feet!

If I do keep the two I like the best I may have to test breed them for lavender. One of the hens got out of her pen in with my porcelain D’Uccle rooster for a couple hours, I honestly don’t think they are out of the porcelain bc I think more than two chicks would of hatched out Millie Fleur colored and none would be extreme mottled or Japanese mottled. What do y’all think?

Both will not be used in the project because they’re vulture hocks are no good or the feathered feet.

F1MFxF1- 4 weeks. I had a broody hen (I keep my chicks in a hutch and my rabbit hutch has 2 sided) in one side and got in with the chicks and kill 3 of them. Luckily I wasn’t going to use them in the project.

In some unfortunate news I think my flock is infected with Ocular Merek’s
Normal eye

I am going to get a Merek’s test from the Silkie lab, if any of you guys know of another test or a better one for live birds I’d be happy to know.
I’ve got my rooster locked up by himself but I know that does mean no one else has it so if the test comes back positive I have a plan going through my head on how to get rid of the Mereks and still continue my projects. If y’all want to hear it just let me know and I tell it.
