Brown rice okay daily?

I just took some warm brown rice (plain) to my chickens and they loved it!
Is this something they can have daily along with their crumble and mixed grains?
Will it bind them (poop, not egg)?

My parents hail from the very same place as the wild jungle fowl. They grew up raising chickens not much different from the wild fowl and they fed them on normal white rice as their main "feed".
