Poor mama. We hatched a duck for my mother in law because turtles and hawks kelp eating the babies. we're keeping it now so the others ducks don't kill or be mean to it because they didn't hatch it. We tried to introduce it to the other ducks a few days ago but it wanted no part of it. the duck was worried about the chicks lol. It won't even swim unless we put the chicks in the pool on the dry part. I hope it will eventually figure out it's a duck.
don't worry about it. That sometimes helps the other eggs to get started.
That's what we're here for. To help each other. I'm still learning lol. But if you have a question that some of us don't know, chances are we know someone that can answer your question. I'd be lost without the members on here.
I totally agree, without this site and all of the wonderful help, I would have lost Hope... Thanks again, just want my ducklings to have some kind of chance of life...
