Ace lifted his head to look at her. "I realize that- I asked if you had named her" He answered with a hint of scorn in his voice. Of course, he had only came to the conclusion that the tiny horse was him and Scorches foal when Scorch had said so, but he wasn't about to admit it

"I just gave birth to her less than an hour ago. My work's done for now. You name her," Scorch said sharply. She closed her eyes and dozed, trying to ignore the newborn weaving around and under her.

Inferno stood to one side, ignoring everyone. She had a feeling her foal would arrive any moment.

"F-fine then" Ace said, looking back down at the filly helplessly. He stared at her for a while, trying to brainstorm

Night watched his two foals wake up with a smile,he stood up and took them to a nearby stream to get a drink

Echo cantered for ages, not wanting to stop until the scent of horse was long gone

Scorch opened an eye, staring at Ace. She could hear the rusted gears grinding against one another in his head. With a sigh, she closed her eyes. "Don't hurt yourself, genius. Inferno might ask you to name hers, too."

Inferno was standing behind Ace a few yards away, busy cleaning a strawberry roan colt.

Echo skidded to a halt as she saw the horses ahead of her. She stood staring for a moment
