Ace nickered quietly to them both, turning back to face West, and started trotting again
Inferno trotted after Ace, trying to stay as close to him as possible.
Scorch cared not whether she was near or lagging behind the stallion.
Aftershock whinnied, cocking her head.
On a ridge, a bay stallion watched the scene before him. A stallion was leading two nearly identical mares away and another was calling after them. Intrigued, he galloped in their general direction.
Aftershock looked to the bay stallion. He was better than the other, so she whickered.

Zachorzi swiveled his ears to find the source of the sound. With an answering whinny, he veered in Aftershock's direction.

Aftershock cocked her head, warrieness showing in her own eyes.
