Brutus, my roo, hates tennis shoes! *UPDATE PG. 2*

Alright, alright! I think things are all good here and we all know where we stand, right?!?! No need for squabbling on Brutus' account!

The silly guy was fine once again today, because I wore my pink Crocs!

He really does look at my shoes though. I've gotten to where I just stick my foot straight out in front of me and tell him, "See Brutus! I'm wearing the pink shoes today!" He gives them a good look and goes his merry way. He has got to be the silliest rooster I've ever seen!

lol I agree they check out the foot apparel first, duhh it's the closest part of your body they see, I know I hate looking up to tall people, hurts my neck!
Popcorn attacked me right off tonite at dinner, why? Cause I wore white tennis shoes! I brought food, his favorite thing from me, and he knew he was blowing his chance at scraps, because I invaded his place with something he didn't like.
here's him doing his, as I call it, the tap dance right before he starts throwing stuff at me...

Some birds just have issues. I know everyone has some, why not a roo.

Well, I tried different shoes yesterday (crocs) and no problem. Maybe that was it afterall.

He's an ornery little roo to begin with, the smaller you are the more likely you are of being chased (he bullys my 7 yr old daughter).

The only other thing I can think of is the day he started, their water was knocked over and they had no water all day.

Boy were they thirsty! Maybe he was really po'd. Anyway, I'm stickin with the shoe theory for now. BTW, this site is great! Tons of great info!
