BSL rooster or hen??

my bsl from tsc is 16 weeks old. It has shiny feathers like my roosters, huge red comb and waddles like my roosters but no long tail feathers and not barred. It sure makes a lot of noise like my roosters but it’s not crowing. Any ideas?

Cockerel for sure. Not a Black Sexlink though, Black Sexlink males are barred "typically".
