One of my RIRs has a weird bubble type thing in the front of her chest. It's HUGE. It doesn't seem to bother her, but it's been there at least a few days. It's not red or irritated in appearance, just very obvious even from far away. It feels like it's filled w/fluid or air, it's not solid or anything. I guess it's about where the crop would be, after looking at pictures. Do I need to do anything? They are on Layer feed with no real supplements except occasional roaming around the yard when we're outside. She was running around the yard with the other hens just fine this afternoon, eating the grass as usual. Also - we have gotten eggs from all 4 hens for the past 2 days, in case that matters. The 2 days before that we got 3 each day. Thanks!!
