Alright, I return to BYC sadly for some help :C I have 2 chickens with 2 separate problems
1st with the bubbles-
I have this chicken of mine and her crop has always been kind of bigger I noticed, but recently when I pick her up, she starts swallowing, and earlier when I picked her up, all these bubbles started coming out of her beak.
Breed: australorp, age: Almost a year old I'd say, behavior: Normal, eating and drinking normal, normal poop as far as I know
It looked like this:
I don't know what could have caused this, none of the other chickens have this, I feed them layena crumble and they always have fresh water, clean pen, clean coop.
2nd with what I think might be bumblefoot?-
This started a few weeks ago when my RIR had this 'plug', you could call it, on the bottom of her foot, it looks like this:
We took it out and put medicine on it that the vet said would be fine, I don't know exactly what it is, but it's some kind of goop we had stuck on our dog when she had open wounds on her back. It seemed to heal, but came back in the last couple weeks, and the chickens foot swelled, and even grew this grape-sized..something..on her foot
It seemed to have turned to a shade of green on part of it today.
Breed: RIR, Age: almost a year, behavior: normal, she doesn't walk with a limp or anything, eats, drinks, poops normal.
I hope I got the pictures right, if not, I'll try to fix them. >.<
Thank you if you can help me figure out what to do with em.
