The first thing one thinks of with foamy or bubbly eye is mycoplasma (MG.) That is a chronic respiratory disease. There could be other reasons for the foamy eye, but that is the most common reason. Testing can be done to rule it out. Avian pneumometa virus has been reported to be more common in turkeys and other fowl, and although it can be a cause of foamy eye, it is not common everywhere.
