The one with a single comb is a pullet. Not a cockerel. It's just not a Buckeye and that's why it looks different. It's a Production Red.

That's a single comb. Buckeye should have a *pea comb. Age?

Where did you get your Buckeyes? Can you post pics of the other one's combs?

Also agreed, except to say the bird may be a hatchery quality Rhode Island Red. Which is basically a Production Red.

And the bird with the green in the tail doesn't look quite right for a Welsummer, but that may just be the angle. My first thought was that it was an Easter Egger cockerel.
