I am currently new to chickens; however my wife previously raised them when she lived in the Poconos when she had a “farmette.” My neighbor, Frank, who lives on the same property, bought a nice coop which will hold up to five (5) small or (4) larger chickens. My part in the venture is to supply the chickens. I want to acquire blue egg layers—specifically Araucanas. I would like three hens and one rooster. As a retiree, I want a nice hobby besides gardening and the fish oond.

Pictures? Just trying to give you a heads up that it likely isn't designed to hold more than 2 birds regardless what the packaging claims. And that is only if you add on at least 12 sq ft of run space per bird.
