I wanted some more blue eggers so I set 3 of my EE Ameraucana cross eggs. -added another brown egg because my kids wanted to. Only the brown egg is developing (we're at day 6). I see nothing in the blue eggs😕😕. Anyway I have older chicks. They will be 4 weeks old when my single chick hatches. Will they be enough of a buddy for this singlet? Divided by hardware cloth or something, of course. Or do I really need to try to get a newly hatched chick the same age as mine locally?
Thanks

You can use a mirror and/or stuffed animal in the brooder till the chick is well to mobility.
After that, if they all have enough space, they can be adopted by 4 week olds. How many older ones are there?
Oh that's a good idea. There are just 2 older ones. I have a large livestock tank as a brooder so should be more than enough space. Thank you for your answer!
