Buddy LIST?

How do I create a buddy list?

I need user friendly instructions. I love BYC and I am new to the chicken world and you have so much info but I am also a little bit new to all of this website stuff. Can you please tell me how to make a buddy list and also how to put a photo up on my profile. I have a pic in MY UPLOADS already but it will not let me use it with or without avatar

For the buddy list, just click on the name of the person you want to add. Click "add to buddy list".

As for the profile pic, I see you figured that one out. Your avatar is your profile pic. They are the same and only shows to everyone to the left when you post.

Yup, just click on their username. That will take you to their profile.

For example, here is a link to my profile:

You should see the text "Add to buddy list". Just click that.

Really? Right under your email address in your profile? On the essentials page.

The link is there in my own profile to Add To Buddy List, but why would I want to add myself? When I click on anyone else's name I do not get the offer to add them to my buddy list. Rob posted a link to his profile above, and nowhere there do I get that option. Here is a shot of what I get when I click on your name, Terrie, or look it up via the User listing:

No option for adding you to my buddy list - but you're still my buddy!!

I loged in as a regular member account and "add to buddy list" was there.

Might be a moderator thing, I'll look into it.

Yeah, maybe someone thought that everyone will be jealous if the moderator chooses his/her own buddies. "Hey, no fair, so-and-so is Moderator's buddy and I'm not!"

Oh, and what is so fabulous about that feature anyway? I guess I just don't get it.
