Buff Amerucana Chicks

I have a lady selling buff Amerucana chicks for $20 straight run. That's cheaper than ordering online but (I know this is a dumb question) to tell if they are pullets at days old?

Unless you know how to vent sex them, and most people don't, it's near impossible to tell, you have a 50/50 chance of grabbing pullets to roosters.

Crap. I have 3 EE roos I am trying to get rid of now out of 3 straight run picks so I suck at picking. Lol

Maybe choose some, than take the ones you didn't choose?? I have bad luck too.

Far to young without vent sexing as oldhenlikesdogs stated. I tell everybody "If buying straight run looking for pullets, but three times as many as you are wanting to end up with" I.e. if your wanting to end up with 5 pullets buy 15 at straight run.
