I've been working on a longtail line for a couple years now and last year I decided to start a buff barred/lemon cuckoo offshoot. I crossed my barred longtail broodcock with buff wyandotte hen's and boy did I hit it lucky. I hatched out 8 and only 4 were rooster's. I kept the one with the least black and he has really bloomed in the last couple month's. I can't wait till it warms up some more and they all get in the mating mood. In theory I knew how easy it was to get lemon cuckoo but I'm still surprised I got such a clear buff.
