Just speaking from experience, our Sandy whom we thought was a girl, turned out to be a roo...he's crowing like mad as we speak! He is a buff brahma banty. I think the main things we figured out, with help that is, other than the crowing, he has pointy saddle feathers...ya know the ones right before his tail feathers. Check the other "gals" out to see if they are pointy or round. Pointy = roo; round = pullet.
