My 4 day old Buff Brahma Bantum (we call ducky, but if it doesn't stop we're calling it peeper) keeps peeping at the top of it's lungs and running around the brooder box. It will try climbing under any of the rest of the chicks. Some times I notice it picking itself, it's butt is fine, and I inspected it today checking for anything wrong. When I pick it up it is quieter. Any suggestions to fix the problem? this thing is worse than having a colicy baby

I have noticed that some chicks, just like some humans, are much more talkative than others. We recently lost one we loving referred to as "loud mouth," anytime you went outside you could hear her chirping away. It's kind of quite now without her. I never noticed anything wrong with her either.

It peeps most of the time, whether I'm out there or not. It just runs around peeping. it'll peck it's foot as is falls over. then run some more. It tries getting under everyone else and it's not too cold. the termomitor says 100 but their all kind of under the light not avoiding it like the plague.
I just don't know
