Yeah the tail is what made me take notice! I'm in my 3rd year of chicken raising-so not an expert by any means, but all my other breeds that have turned up roosters it was obvious almost immediately. These guys really threw me!

Now that I know better what to look for I went out there this morning and realized I have not one but two buff brahma roosters!! ILuvMyPetChickens- that's good to hear that yours is a nice one! Mine sure don't seem aggressive at all, which is another reason it took me 3 months to notice!!!

My Light Brahma roo was slow to mature he was 8 months before he crowed

He looks like a rooster.I have brahmas too and my rooster looks like That... except bigger.
