Buff Brahma with no feathers on it's feet.

One of the chicks in my order was supposed to be a Buff Brahma. The chick color was correct but it never had the feathers on it's feet that my light Brahma has.

Here are some pics of Ferrous. Everything about her seems right but she doesn't have feathered feet. Does that happen very often?

Head looks the wrong shape to me on top of the poorly feathered shanks... somebody probably jumped a fence or something was brought in to "fix" something (productivity, size, etc).

The hatchery sold you a hatchery grade bird.

My light Brahma has no feathers on legs too

Hatchery birds often have defects so they can have wrong combs, not feathers on their legs, and poor coloring.

I agree. My light Brahma from Ideal has good coloring, but very little feathering on her legs. Not fluffy at all

. She is very healthy & vigorous on the plus side
