Buff comb shape

Hi all this is my 8 week Buff. Just wondering if the split in the comb is normal. Like is it undesirable

It isn't to standard but it shouldn't cause any troubles. With the comb that big and red already it may be a cockerel.

Buff is a color, not a breed (in chickens, anyway) it's not going to be a problem with his life at all, so I wouldn't worry
