Spirit's next appointment is Tuesday, Dec. 11th - 5 weeks post-surgery.

Baby and Lucky in the bath. I'm not sure what Baby Gril is doing, exactly, but she stayed that way happily for a minutes or two. Guess she was sunning herself in the tub. Lucky just paddled and paddled. I hope it helps her legs.

How do I give her niacin? Is it pills or liquid? how much?

I've never used niacin only brewers yeast, but I have read most just open the capsule and sprinkle on top of water. if pill then I'd crush it up real good.

Lucky stood up briefly today. Seems to be getting the leg a little more under control. Baby has goose crawled several time to the water and little green patches for nibbles. They are enjoying their free day out, and I'm glad, since I've got an open floor to haul out straw and make a new bedding pile.

I've also found great condition large skids with tight boards for $3 ea to use for making easy open/close divider stall for breeder geese, and the new 5 x 12 Nigerian dwarf dairy goat section for the two new does coming next weekend. One will be weaning her quads (4 kids) the day I pick her up, so she'll be 2 mths fresh and ready for milking another 6 months I hope. The other goat is bred we think, and due in March for her first freshening. I'm sure it will be fun to have so many useful chores. I did buy a small vacuum milker though, to make it easy, quick, and more clean. I'm very fastidious about my milk.

Hi Psue

Where did everyone else go? Oh well. Baby Girl tried very hard to keep up with the flock when they left the barn today. It was sad to watch her have to stop goose crawling and flapping her wings to wonk after her friends as they left for the pens for the day. I figure if anything will get them up and moving, its wanting to join the club again.

Baby is definately on the mend, and any day now I expect to see her stand or really walk again. Lucky is the one being left behind at this point.

I am so happy you are seeing such good progress with Baby, sure hope you start to see it with Lucky she sounds very special.

Marty can Baby stand at all yet or does she have to wing crawl? The more Lucky can exercise in the water the stronger the leg will become.

Did you go to the lawer yet? What have you found out? Did they find out the peoples names yet?

Happy to hear the progress! :D Took some pictures this weekend. Thought I'd share.
