Oh, I missed out on a great photo this evening. We're working on the goat stall in the barn, and its dark here at about 5:30, so we're in the barn with lights on and the door open. Lucky and Baby both cruised outside, and little DD Julia came and sat with them. She started singing christmas carols for them (or us) and we kept working. About 15 minutes later, I happen to glance out to see how everyone is, and lucky has her head in Julias lap, sleeping, and Baby had scooted up to her as well, and had her head about 3" away clearly enjoying Julias rousing renditions of carols like "we three kings" and "o holy night". I watched for a minute, but without my phone for the camera, all I could do was be amazed. When we were done, Julia told us the birds liked her music. I could only agree.
poor Baby... I left ours in their pens today. Getting to cold for Humans. I figure the rabbits will need watered 3times tomarrow. *fingers crossed* the geese have heated water buckets.I saw Baby take two steps today, and Ruth and Julia insist that Lucky stood briefly yesterday and this morning.
Here's hoping the babies are coming along. Oh, and Baby is terrified of the goats, even though they are totally seperate. She cruised behind a straw bale, and I had to drag her back out. LOL
Great news Marty, slow but steady...I saw Baby take two steps today, and Ruth and Julia insist that Lucky stood briefly yesterday and this morning.
