Buff hen expressing bloom but not laying eggs

I have a 2 year old Buff hen that I have watched in the nest box “expressing the bloom fluid” to the point of causing the shavings to be quite wet, but never laid an egg. I waited on her to finish and when she left the nest I checked.... and no egg. She is about twice the size of the other buffs her age. I’ve had chickens for about 4 years and never experienced this before. Any idea what’s going on? I’m at a loss. This has been going on for about 3 months and otherwise healthy.

Could it be albumin instead of bloom?

She doesn’t have any bloating or swelling. I’ve never heard of albumin.....

l just read about albumin and it’s possible that is what’s going on. It’s confusing because she’s never gone broody. I have 2 buffs that go broody about twice a year. I only have 7 hens and no rooster.

If she's acting normal, then I'd just keep watch on her.
