one of my girls has been hanging out in the coop all day - facing the nesting box. i picked her up and examined her and didnt see anything amiss. she is keeping her head close to her body. can anyone give me a clue?

i should say her and her kin (there are 9 of them) have been very healthy and happy and they are 3 months old.
