Buff Oprington and a light or buff brahma mix?

Why not buy some and breed your own? There's no guarantee that any of us "have" pics. Why not be the first to post some?

Edit: Here's a pic of a hen that they claim is a Lemon Blue Orpington Cross

My guess is they mix should look very nice you should try it. I cannot help yet with any pictures my Light Brahma Cockerels are not at breeding age. I have BO hens they are getting nailed every day by my Araucana Rooster I let you know what they look like in 21 days just set the eggs in LG yesterday. I don’t think there must be anyone out there yet reading the forms that has breed the combination you are thinking about. We live close enough if you want one of my Light Brahma Cockerels come on down I let you have one for free. PM me if you are interested

I have a mystery chick. Its all white with some light grey around its neck and some on it wings. It has smooth yellow legs and a single comb. Its about 3 weeks old.

I concluded that this chick came from a cross of a Buff Orpington hen and a Light Brahma rooster. See my posting in meaty chickens on this forum.

The chick hatched out yellow like a Light Brahma chick. Not golden like a Buff Orpinton chick. It turned all white while my Light Brahma chicks started to develop dark feather on thier wings. It has a single comb developing. I am curious if this chick will have the large meaty chest of a Light Brahma.

I want to raise a bird for the table that develops nicely. So far my meat birds have not come close to the size of store bought cornish crosses. My wife complained of the smaller chicken breast size. My Brahma rooster has a nice filled out chest. Will this quality flow over into the orpington cross?

I'm gonna try though. I have some light brahmas right now and I will be getting some buff orpington chicks this week 5 hens and 1 rooster. Im gonna take their kids A light Brahma roo and breed it to a buff orpington hen. To see what I'll get. But it wont be for awhile though.

I know this thread's a little old, but I have one of these. It's still a bit young, but it just looks like a buff orpington with hairy legs so far.

OK, no pics but we have three chicks hatched mid May. Light Brahma roo and BO hen.

Solid white with light gray cape with flecks of black in the hind section. Feathered more like an Orp than a Brahma. Pretty birds.
Great personalties.
