Does anyone have any pictures of baby Buff Orpingtons? I have 7 that were rescued and was told they look like BO..any pictures to compare would be great..any baby Roo pictures would be great also! I am thinking this little one is a BO roo..very thick legs!!

Sweet! I have 2 BI's and unfortunately no pic's but I can say these do look like Oprah and Buff(roo) did at that age. Buff was always bigger than Oprah so we were suspicious of he was a roo. Good luck with your chicks!

Are the legs yellow or pink? If they are yellow, it's not an orpington.

And it's a little roo

Could be a Buff Rock if it's legs are yellow and it looks like a cockerel.

The legs are pale...not bright yellow...but very thick. I will have to take pictures of all 7 of them to see if you can tell me wether they maybe pullets or roos...kind of thinking all roos..and that is why they were all thrown away together...but not sure?

Yours looks like a BO to me. Little roo by the looks of him.

Your chick looks like a BO roo.

BO chick (just now working on feathers)...yellow legs

Archie BO rooster...started out with yellow legs.....they changed during his "teenage" period.

Archie now...this doesn't show his legs but they are white/pink.

These are my 3 Buff orps:

The one in the front is a roo, the other 2 pullets. Maybe not so obvious in this picture, but at 5 months you can tell now!
