Buff Orp......Hen or Roo!

Wow, normally I get sure answers from this site but now I am more confused than ever. I have just started and I do not have a need for a rooster. I started the flock mainly for eggs not for baby chicks! About half of you say hen and half rooster. If it is a rooster, I will have to get rid of him, which I don't want to do because we are already attached, I really don't know what to do!

Ps. I have two that look like this and they started crowing at 6 months. But I hear some girls crow when there's no cockerel around??? Help..

Ok Here are some better pics of Nala! Hope you all can help. I don't need a rooster and it would break my heart to part with her or him.

this is a rooster. FYI, in the future it's best to start your own thread to ask about a specific bird--just click the "Start a New Thread" button on the upper left. It prevents confusion of which bird folks are talking about--now we have two birds on this thread and it gets very confusing!
Older, dominant hens might crow, but a 6 month old orpington that's crowing is male, sorry.
