Hi all! I have a 1 year old Buff Orp hen who just layed her usual morning egg. When I went out to get it, she was just standing up to leave the nesting box. After she stood up, she went to a spot that has a lot of hay, and started picking it up and putting it on her back. She was also putting feathers that had been molted and were lying on the ground on her back too. Does anyone know what she's doing? Is this a sign that she's going to go broody? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much.
