Here is another buff orphington chick I have it might be a little bit younger.

They're a bit young yet to tell for certain, but I'd say there's a good chance both are pullets.

Look for any change in the color of the comb from pale to a deeper yellow-orange. By age six weeks, if you have a cockerel or two, those combs will turn from yellow-orange to red-orange. If they are pullets their combs will remain the same pale tint until point-of-lay when the color changes almost over night to red.
