Buff Orpington 9 weeks and scratching at eye

Here is a picture and she looks better than she did at first. I'm not sure if she just got it wet and was scratching it because it was irritating her or if there is something wrong. You can tell from the pic it is kindof inflamed red looking. Any thoughts?

Well tonight it poured and the chicks wouldn't go inside! So I guess they got a good washing. I had to make a small coop inside to keep them from going back out into the rain. I wouldn't normally be concerned except that it is evening and going to get cold tonight. I put them inside with food and water and a heat lamp to dry them off. Anyone have any other tips or should I just have let them stay out in the rain if they wanted? I just couldn't believe it because my grown ladies run in as soon as the rain starts!
