Buff Orpington chicks with black spots

I think it me
Thanks, for any response. The posts are still here though lol, I took a chance
I think it means black leakage. I have show line English buff orpingtons I got from a reputable breeder. I think one of my regular buff orpingtons snuck in because this year's hatch has a number of chicks with the spots, and he has tail leakage. I'd be interested to know what others think.

Just fired off a couple pictures, what'dya think?
I know this post is ancient but..for future reference for those who want to know..I've just purchased two buff orps and one has speckling on head similar to photo. I have seen the parents of this chick and they are all 100% pure buff. My guess is this. Some where in the genetic code there are shadows of the genes which serve to help chicks camouflage when they are hunted. Often, as chicks age the pattern disappears, as we see in the chipmunk stripes on some babies. I'm guessing, and if I'm proven wrong I will come back and update, that the speckling and faint back stripes my orp has will eventually, completely disappear. Love to know what happened to yours or anyone else's, who has experienced something similar..

Hi everyone I know this thread is ancient but I really need help differentiating between my Buff orp and RIR chicks. I have 1 buff orp in with a couple RIRs. The one I am suspecting to be a buff orp has black spotting on its head and whiteish feet. It is the only one that fits the desc of a orp chick except the black spot. In the pic it is chick no 2. I believe chick 1 is a RIR. Please have a look. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks
