Buff Orpington - Male - Hatched 4/4/2022, Holly MI
Beautiful bird, handled multiple times a day since hatch by adults and children.
Currently lives with 3 hens.
Fed Purina organic feed and prior to that, Purina medicated chick feed. Also fed fresh produce, grit, and some time each day grazing in the yard.
Not vaccinated.
Sweet and docile. Comfortable being held. Carried on walks, sits in laps, and currently sleeps in the house to avoid early morning wake ups for the neighbors. Unable to keep him within the village limits. He was a surprise male.
He would be wonderful for a companion rooster - wonderful for breeding and protection for a flock of hens. Alerts to dangers.
His name is Joe.
Also open to him going to rescues. We have contacted every one we can find from here to California and no one has room for him, including Michigan Humane.
