Buff Orpington Color.

Can they get black on their feathers like this

Hi I pretty new to the chicken world and have chosen buffs as my breed and all my knowledge is just from reading on here just just looking at your bird the feet are yellow where orps feet are pale pink/whitish. Mine have black specks on the tail feathers and my two roosters have a white spot on long tail feather

That seems like color bleeding through from an outcross breeding.  Like, maybe grandpa was a black Orpington.
 
I think this black tails is common in hatchery stock, in absolute pure heritage Buff Orpingtons they are straight buff. However, when crossed with certain colours it can result in black on the tail and neck hackle. Buff is wheaten and colombian, I found that crossing buff with certain cuckoo varieties brings out the colombian gene. Remember Buff Orps have white legs and orange eyes, check that the chooks are purebred.
