Buff orpington comb and face chanign color rapidly

So I have a buff whose face and comb were turing a darker red than normal (almost magenta) but then were fin again. That would be fine, but then layer turned dark again, then back to normal. Is this something to be worried about? Should I begin planning her funeral service??

Are these laying hens, pullets who aren't yet laying, or cockerels/roosters?

i have a buff orpington too that is older no longer laying noticed her face darkening too & wondering currently i am giving antibiotics to her twice a day per vet visit, and thought maybe it was from her struggling holding her while trying to get meds in her beak that maybe some capilaries broke? what'd ya find out, my hens do eat lots of blueberries, but has been and only seeing it now
