I’m well aware it’s a joke. My question was why would you even? Why is fighting a joke?

This thread was not for fighting it was for the buff orp lovers and haters to vote and stuff. It was not for everyone to get rude. If you took it this seriously I am very sorry for you. Justice the cochin vs. Orp war or asparagus haters and lovers war it is just for fun not to literally fight. I am sorry I was rude and yes I may have acted immature at times but please if you want to fight with me pm me and we can settle this just don't hijack my thread to argue about things other then orps

Why would I want to fight privately with you? I wasn’t fighting in the first place-just saying that starting something like this is bound to get messy. That’s all

And in my opinion this thread is slowly hurtling toward a steep cliff. What chicken breed you prefer is not a fact. It’s a opinion. People really seem to struggle with this for some reason. Starting a thread for the sole purpose of bickering seems ridiculous in my opinion. The only thing this thread will ever be is a big fight.

It seems like it used to be, "I love Orpintons so much! But I don't see why you don't." and "I have reasons not to like them you won't understand, but you do you."
But now it's, "I love Orpingtons and if you don't, you're getting a talking to! I hate you!" and "Orpintons are awful! You're so dumb to like them. I hate you!" and that's not the way to go.
We all have our oppinions. It's okay to be mad at somebody for not liking Buff Orpingtons, but we shouldn't go to war with them just for disliking a breed! Unless you don't want this war to end, when one side of the war wins, how do you think the other side will react?

Aww, that's cute! My Buff Orpington Daisy did the same thing! But sadly she passed away almost a year ago. She was old though. She was 7.

I for one have a very nice Buff Orpington. I don’t think any chicken lover should actually hate any color or breed of chicken. Preferences, yes, but not hate. I am not a super huge fan of a couple of breeds that will remain unnamed, but I would tolerate them and take care of them if I ever ended up with one or two in my flock. And would not make fun of them or berate them (yes, I know it’s a joke). I don’t know how anyone could hate such a sweet & cuddly chicken.

I have 8 or 9 hens brooding currently and each is on between 9 and 20+ eggs. I have to actually count them at some point
