I temporarily moved out of state and rented out my house to a friend but she's vacating so I need to find a good home for the hen. Please let me know if you have other chicken friends for her and can take her! Or if you know of any good resources in the area to find a good home, that would really help too. Thank you!

FB chicken groups local to you are a good bet to find someone quickly.

Since the rules about selling animals were enacted, you have to encode the message somewhat. My local group bans words like free, dollars, price, fee, etc.

So, an example would be: "x year old Buff Orpington Hen looking for new henhouse, nothing required in return"
