Buff Orpington Experts: help?

Gertie is about 16 weeks old and I thought, a pullet.
We have a rooster already; and she and the rooster do not interact at all.
Gertie is the leader of 5 other pullets about the same age.
Lately her legs are getting huge, wattles huge, too.
I saw Gertie jumping on top of a hen the other day, but wondered if she was just asserting her dominance.
Today she crowed for the first time.
Now I wonder again... is she a he?
anyone sure?

Agree, that's a boy.

Really??? Guess I've been in denial. Gertie is now GUS!
Very sweet guy for a roo. That is a blessing.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Yeah, that's a boy for sure.

But actually, some hens have been caught crowing in the past. It's a way of asserting dominance.
