Hi Guys,
1st My apologises for not having a picture

My camera is at work.
Anyways I have 5 BOs that are 4 weeks old. They are supposed to be all pullets but you know how that goes

So today I noticed one had a much larger pink comb and the start of wattles

Do ya all think that she is a he since it is developing them so fast?
I told DH that if the others sprout a comb and wattles soon we still have hope

I'm not an expert on BOs, but I can tell you that, even within the same breed and gender, some birds develop sooner than others.

That said, four weeks does seem pretty early for wattle development in a pullet . . .

Ok Here are some pictures of the chick in question

The other three do not show any wattles and comb.

Its a roo! When I got my BO's, 25 hens and 2 roos, at 4 weeks you could pick out the roos....they looked just like yours!

I so wanted them to all be pullets. On a happier note the other 4 don't have a comb....yet
I have 2 EE roos and was planning on keeping a Marans Roo and a Cochin Roo, now I have to really think about who to keep

I wish i could keep em all. I'd have to build another coop...DH will freak...
